Questions
Before you get in touch
What is the quickest way to get in touch?
Ringing 07591 961 805 is the quickest. If I am at the bench or on a fitting I may not answer straight away, so leave a message or send a WhatsApp with your name and what you need. I will come back to you as soon as I can.
What should I include in my enquiry?
Your name and phone number are all that is required. It helps to add your postcode, which service you want and a few photos of the area. A rough width, length or number of steps is useful too, but I can always measure properly on a visit.
How many photos can I attach to the form?
Up to three images, each no larger than 8MB. JPEG, PNG and WebP files are accepted. Photos are stored privately, resized and stripped of location data when you submit, and only used to prepare your quote. You can also send more photos later on WhatsApp.
Is the quote really free?
Yes. Quotes are free and carry no obligation. If I need to visit to measure, that is part of the quote too. You will get a clear written figure, and a drawing for new work, so you can decide at your own pace.
Do you reply on WhatsApp?
Yes. WhatsApp to 07591 961 805 reaches me directly. It is a good way to send photos from your phone and to ask quick questions. For anything detailed, I will usually ring you so we can talk it through properly.
What happens to the information I send?
Your details are stored securely and used only to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. Photos are kept in a private store, not published. The privacy page explains what is kept, for how long and how to ask for it to be deleted.
Can I come to the workshop to talk it through?
Yes, by arrangement. Unit 20 is a working workshop rather than a showroom, so please call or message first so I can make time and show you work in progress. That way you will not make a wasted journey. A map link is on this page.
Do you quote for business and commercial jobs?
Yes. Choose Commercial and security on the form, or call. Tell me about the premises, what you want to protect and any requirements from your insurer or landlord. Photos of the frontage or openings are very helpful. I will respond with questions and then a free no-obligation quote.
Which areas do you cover?
I cover Brierley Hill, Dudley, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Kingswinford, Cradley Heath, Wordsley, Quarry Bank, Sedgley, Tipton, Oldbury, Smethwick, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Solihull and Birmingham. If you are nearby, still get in touch and I will tell you honestly.
What if I only need a repair, not new metalwork?
Please still get in touch. Repairs and restoration are a regular part of the work, from loose handrail posts to rusted gate rails. Describe the problem, send photos if you can, and I will explain what is involved and quote for it.
