How to read this gallery
Every photograph on this page shows metalwork made in my Brierley Hill workshop and fitted on a real property across the West Midlands. There are no stock pictures and no computer-generated images. The jobs are grouped by type so you can compare like with like: driveway gates, narrower pedestrian and side gates, handrails for steps and stairs, boundary railings and a couple of internal steel and glass frames.
Look at the details as well as the overall shape. Notice how the bars are spaced, whether the tops are spear points or plain, where scrollwork is used and where it is left out, and how the posts meet the brick or the ground. Those are the choices we make together at the design stage, and any photo can be the starting point for your own gate or rail. I will redraw it to fit your opening.
House numbers, house names and number plates are blurred to protect the people who live there. Select any photo to see it larger, then ring or message me about the one you like.

Are these photos of real jobs?
Yes. Every photo in the gallery is of work made by MP Gates and Handrails and supplied by the business. None are stock photos or computer-generated images. Some were taken on site during fitting, which is why you will occasionally see a van or tools in the background.
Why are some details blurred in the photos?
Customers' privacy matters, so house numbers, house names and number plates are blurred before a photo goes on the site. The metalwork is never altered. If you see a detail that should be hidden, tell me and I will remove or mask it straight away.
Can I ask for a gate like one in the gallery?
Yes. Tell me which photo you like and what you would change. I will draw a version that fits your own opening, since every drive and wall is different. You approve the drawing before any steel is cut, so the finished gate matches what you expect.
Do the photos show new work or restoration?
The gallery shows finished metalwork without claiming a before and after for each photo. If you want to know whether a particular gate or rail was newly made or restored, ask and I will tell you. Restoration jobs are described on the services page.
Can I send my own photos for a quote?
Please do. Clear photos of your drive, steps or railings from a few angles tell me most of what I need. You can attach up to three on the contact form, or send them by WhatsApp. A rough width or length helps but is not essential.
How do I choose between spear tops and scroll panels?
Spear tops give a crisp, traditional line and suit most frontages. Scroll panels add decoration and suit larger houses or period properties. I will look at your house and neighbours, then suggest a style. The gallery's driveway gates and railings groups show both side by side.
Can I change the colour of a gate I see here?
Yes. Colour is your choice. The gallery includes black, white, grey, mint green and orange metalwork, so many finishes are possible. Tell me the colour of your windows and doors, and I will suggest a finish that suits the house rather than clashing with it.
Where were these jobs fitted?
The work was fitted across the West Midlands, but I do not name streets or customers on the site, out of respect for their privacy. If you want to talk about a particular style or ask whether I have worked near you, call and I will answer as far as I can.
Will you add photos of my job to the gallery?
Only with your agreement. I like to photograph finished work, but I will always ask first, and I blur numbers, names and plates. If you would rather your job stays private, just say so and the photos stay with me.
How often is the gallery updated?
It changes when there is new finished work worth showing, so there is no fixed timetable. If you are comparing styles, the photos here are a good guide to what I make. For something more specific, ask and I will tell you about similar recent work.
